I love popcorn. Salty, buttery popcorn, sweet popcorn, cheese popcorn. I do make it in my microwave, but I am old enough to remember making it in a mesh basket over fire coals, and also in a frying pan on a stove. I also remember popcorn in a foil pan with a spiral foil top that came all ready to cook on the stovetop. I also have made popcorn strings for the Christmas tree with a needle and thread and I have made popcorn balls, and turkey dressing with popcorn (already popped).

Yes I make popcorn at home. I use the microwave too, it is so much easier than popping on the stove.

No, I don't cook pop corn at home. I don't like it really that much. Only when i saw one and eatys a little of it. Usually while strolling on the mall.

Yes I absolutely love homemade popcorn if it is the right kind...I really do like the microwave popcorn...I think that I have tried the popcorn that you make on the stove in those little pots and don't really care for that....and I think that i hvae tried the popcorn that you make in those little popcorn makers and dont really like them either...I dont know what it is about popcorn that you make at home in your microwave but it seems to be alot better and theres nothing better than a movie and popcorn!

My popcorn is probably not very healthy. I put old fashioned margarine in the pot and let it float over the kernels. In my experience it is best to use high heat and shake occasionally. When there are more than 4 seconds between hearing the kernels pop, I take it off the stove and pour it directly into a bowl.
