Hello everyone,
So, I just thought about this and decided to share it here. How long have you been using your mobile phone?
Mine is almost 5 years and still counting. I got my phone in June 2013. It was the latest phone at that time so I was so crazy about it.
It's a Samsung Galaxy Note 2! This phone has really serve me well. I've never taken it for repairs although I'm having battery issues and the camera is not very bright like the way it used to.
I hope to get the latest version of the note series later this year maybe in August.
Let's discuss on how long we've all been using our phones?

A smart phones does not last for more than two years with me. I wonder how you could manage with a phone for five years.

@ammyluv I am totally satisfied with mine and I am not planning to buy a new one. It works well and its batteries are also great. If I don't use it too much it can survive two days without charging.

Well currently I have a Samsung phone since January 2016. It is going fine except when the space gets very low, or at times because of too many Apps.

How much internal storage you have? 64GB?
Don't count Memory Cards. There are limitations.
I plan to buy one 64GB Phone. Though not sure if that will serve the purpose. Otherwise will need 256GB Iphone. Need to take a loan for that.

Mine is a contract phone so I upgrade every 2 years. I have a Samsung Galaxy A3 at the moment which I have had for around 9 months. I love Samsung phones and prefer them to other brands.

I just use a plain mobile phone for making and receiving calls. I cannot even remember how long I have had it but it still works fine. Has no camera.

I have had mine about 6 months. It does great for a cheap phone. I won't replace it until I need to..I wouldn't have a problem having the same model again, but I hope to get a slightly better phone. The camera in this one could use some improvement!

I use sony (current mobile xperia X), always and it has never disappointed me, would not say that its perfect, it has its glitches sometimes. But I see to it that all my mobiles last for atleast 3 years. My last mobile lasted for 4.5 years when i thought to give up on it due to battery issues & also faded camera lens.
Its really difficult to maintain mobiles for that long, as you're using it everyday, every hour with so much of wear & tear. My funda is clear - buy a solid mobile which is sturdy even if costs more around $500 rather than buying cheap phone and spending more every 1 year, coz cheap phones dont lasts that long, thats my experience.

Agree with you.
It all depends on device manufacturing and your handling though.
