Hello everyone.
As promised that I will post my birthday cake. Baking took my afternoon. We just had a simple dinner of some noodles and fresh veggie roll (I actually dont how to translate the name sorry).
Anyway, I have this favorite cake in one bakery in Manila and today I tried my best to re-created this. The cake is chocolate with some mocha buttercream and toffee crumbles inside. Then a marshmallow icing on the outside. Almost the same. Lol. Except that my icing need a little, just a little more beating.

I know which bakery you are referring too. I am just a few streets away. But hey, that is not so bad. Yummy. Thinking of cake, I think I might visit tomorrow.

Just like you, I stopped putting candles on my cake because the numbers are poison. In my head I will always be 21.

Thank you. Yes. Beckys. I live their cakes. And swiss chixo is my favorite. And since we are far now, I made my own version. To make marshmallow icing you need to melt sugar with a little water until it boils. Beat egg whutes until soft peaks then add slowly the melted sugar and you beat some more until stiff peaks form. Welk I only have hand held mixer and it is really tiring to beat for a long time. The icing is not that stiff. I need to put it in the fridge after a while.
