When I was in my teens, I was opportune to watch the film, Anaconda, in a friend’s home. After that, I started seeing snakes everywhere - in my dreams, in the bedroom, and under the staircase. It was really traumatic for me. I have never gone over the fears of snakes it put in me.
As for you, what movie traumatized you when you were a kid?

@mydanods it is a very good movie - just that one scene is brutally realistic

@mydanods There was a wicked queen disguised as a witch who gave snow white a poisoned apple. I think she had an ugly face and warts and I was afraid of her as a child. Snow White went into a deep sleep until she was awoken by the kiss of a charming prince.

@mydanods Yes. I just do not remember where I watched that. But it crept the hell out of me.

Reanimator, That movie's trailer showed a flying severed head. That gave me a fear of severed heads in my childhood.
It gave 80s horror a gore-filled boot up the backside, proudly challenging others to match its level of blood and guts, and now Re-Animator is being brought ...

When I was a little kid, the first time I watched the movie Jaws, I got a little spooked after watching the shark eat and kill people.
And after seeing all of that blood while the shark ate people, I didn't want to put ketchup on any hot dog or hamburger that I ate for the next few weeks.

It was The Snow Queen. I was six years old when my mother took us to see the movie. The queen was so hateful, I hid behind my mother's shoulder so I wouldn't watch it. It wasn't until I was in fourth grade that I took courage to check the book out of the library and read it. I think I've seen the movie one time since I read the book.

Ramsay's horror movies and TV series in India. Those now seem too cliche, cheesy, stuff but as a kid I was terrified of them but would never miss an episode. Some of those traumatised me. I am scared of dark.
