I used to always wear gold, but I somehow changed my preference along the way somewhere and now I like silver better. You know, as I'm typing this out, I'm thinking I may have responded to this already, but I don't remember and there's SO many pages to go through to check! Oh well...

Actually I do. They were pieces that were given to me by myrelatives when I left England. Some of them were very personal and some antique, so I wore them all the time, for both those reasons. Realised I couldn't wear them day in day out any more, so in a safety deposit box to pass down. Thanks for that, giving you a positive rating! Good luck to you!

I wear gold, but have bought a beaded type bracelet to wear to daughters wedding next year, and the "wire" is silver. Is it true that you shouldn't wear gold and silver together? Nothing superstitious, but not "dress code" have you heard this?

So now I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't combine the two! Damn, I'll just have to go and buy something else, what hubby doesn't know won't hurt him! lol I can always say I've had it for a long time, worked in the past, but I think he is starting to wake up! he he

I don't wear much jewelry. I really never have. Once in awhile I will wear earrings or a necklace but it doesn't matter to me if it is gold or silver.

Off course, gold is my choice.
Gold is a metallic element with a characteristic yellow color, but can also be black or ruby when finely divided, while colloidal solutions are intensely colored and often purple. These colors are the result of gold's plasmon frequency lying in the visible range, which causes red and yellow light to be reflected, and blue light to be absorbed. Only silver colloids exhibit the same interactions with light, albeit at a shorter frequency, making silver colloids yellow in color.

I would wear gold a long time ago but I like silver. Less expensive costing if you happen to lose some of your jewelry.

I've always preferred silver, but I'll wear white gold which looks almost like silver. I never really liked the look of gold. If I do wear it, it's one piece not too much and it's usually very subtle.

Personal opinion, I think rose gold isn't given the credit it's due. You always see yellow or white gold, but rose gold is making a serious comeback both in jewellery and watches.
It has a warmer look and feel to it, it compliments most skin types and is the most traditional colour gold you can get.

I pretty much only wear silver coloured jewelry. I think that the colour is more pleasing to me. I wear silver, titanium (in my body piercings) and platinum rings.... Much prettier to me than gold is.
