Is This Not The Saddest Story You Ever Heard?

I was debating about writing another post, but had to when I heard this story. I Think I am getting the feeling I write about this band to much. I was reading the comments on Rancid's New "Trouble Maker" album and there was one of this poor soul who was so distraught. Apparently, Tim Armstrong himself came up to him and wanted to borrow his lighter. The problem is the poor lad had a bit to much fun and was wasted off his ass. Straight ignoring Tim Armstrong and said in your face time Tim. OK, I added the in your face part, but that would have been funny. He did ignore him and pretty sure Tim was able to borrow his friends lighter because obviously someone had to tell him what happened. He said he was "gutted" when he was told the story the next day. I guess so because it is 2018 and he said that happened in Bristol in early 2000's. Yet, sounded like he is still Haunted by the moment. Meaning Rancid does not come around there as much as they play here in the states. We will just do a Tim Timebomb song he covered and dedicate it to the man who missed out on meeting one of his hero's in an off script way. That really is one of the saddest stories I have ever heard. Has that happened to anyone else who frequents big time concerts?
