I didn't find it easy. I started off in a manual car and then switched to automatic. It took me a few attempts to pass my test but I did it in the end.

I started driving at the age of 10 and it was manual transmission.
Now the cars on automatic transmission are so easy to drive, I don't find joy in that unless I'm stuck in traffic.

Practice makes things perfect. Initially you may feel good to drive but later you will learn how difficult its to control the car. It would be good if you practice with an old car in an off field area first. Have a person who knows car driving. You don't need passion or excitement here, you need experience. Once you feel enough experience in off area then go to on-road. Drive slow and steady. Obey your fellow person and use techniques learned during practice. You can't expect mistake here. Once you complete these things then use your new car for your own use.

It is very difficult, no matter how many years I do it... You need at least 1 year to feel more or less confident

There are two basic types of cars, trucks or any motor vehicle. Either they are automatic or standard. If you are leaning to drive a standard shift vehicle, you will have to become familiar with the three foot pedals, the clutch, the brake and the accelerator pedals. The gear shift is another, a thing that has several positions depending on the design of the vehicle, as some are in the steering column and others in the floor between the driver and passenger seat. IF you are learning to drive an automatic, it will be easier to learn. But basically, you have to really have an experienced driver with you to show you the steps and with confidence and practice you will probably do well. But don't be in a hurry. It takes time and patience and focus to learn properly how to drive.
