Stop you are not child

Well, maybe you should see it from her standpoint. A lot of people have been through a lot in life while some are so emotional. I am very emotional and can cry at probably anything. I'm not doing it because I've refused to grow up, but that is just me. This is who I am. I have tried oftentimes to control my tears, but it seems impossible. We are all different in life, the way you handle certain situations doesn't mean I should handle mine that same way. I mean what is the essence of words and opposite then? You may be tough and hardly get emotional while others are not. It's just life

May be she is taking the advantage in the name of friendship. She might have felt that you are one of his close mentor. But I agree it is not fun to behave like this way in office.

I just get irritated and just leave !..

Glad to say that we don't have colleagues like that. Ouch, once, something like that did happen but it was because my colleague's husband just ran away with her mother's money by faking her signature (for gambling).

My colleague also behave like a kid though she is a college student now and much younger than me. I like her as she is cute.

Usially i wonder what is really going on in their life. Yes they could be seeking attention, but maybe there is a cry for help someone needs to look into.

i work with 2 twenty year olds that are hell annoying.they goof off all day.

I think it's often attention seeking. I don't know anyone like this but once I used to have a friend who was always pretending to be clumsy, falling off her chair and spilling drinks. At first we all thought it was funny but in the end it became irritating.

These kinda people have been through lots of things which they never share. They don't like to behave childishly but their past made them act like this. Be patience to them. I bet everything that these kinda person will never betray you because they are as innocent as a kid.

I don't deal with those kinds of people. Makes me feels like they're trying to manipulate me. I just ignore them when they start behaving like a child, even if it's not an act.
