Today is the day for Rocktopia. Very excited and glad the show was not cancelled because of the bad weather (another nor'easter) we had yesterday. Although why would it be? The show is tonight and it's a beautiful day. 7:30 can't come soon enough.
I actually wanted to see the show when Pat Monahan (from the group Train) was going to be there. He is in the show from March 20th to April 8th, but today of all days is the day that he won't be. That sucks. But as I am going with my husband and can only get tickets for the day he is off from work, I wouldn't be able to catch the show with Pat Monahan anyway. So decided might as well go see the show now than wait...
A lot of great reviews for the show from people that went! I hope the same will be true for me.
Now only thing left to do is wait for the show to start and to figure out where we will go for dinner after.
UPDATE: Pat Monahan was actually at the show. Wonder why the mailer said he wouldn't be.

It is interesting that this show was on Broadway as it is not a musical or a play.

@lovebuglena We find these sorts of concerts pretty loud now. I don't know why they need to make them so loud. I guess it gets everyone excited.

@JudyEv When music is too loud the hearing gets affected.

It was pretty good. A bit too loud at times though. Glad I went. And very happy that Pat Monahan was actually there even though the mailer said he wouldn't be.

Had a great time. Even sang along to some of the songs when they had the crowd engage in the songs.

@Courtlynn That wasn't allowed though I saw a few people do it and for some reason no one came up to them to tell them to not do it.

It's not a movie. It's a music show that fuses classical music and rock.

@kobesbuddy At times the sound was a bit too loud, and I can't say I was always WOWed but overall I really liked it.
