Do you reuse the gift wrapping paper?

You know, when we get gifts from friends, they normally come wrapped. Well, every gift should be wrapped where possible to add that personal touch and "mystery". :P The question is: Do you reuse those wrapping papers? For me, I would if they look nice, are in good condition and do not have any store brand stamped on them. What about you? Do you reuse wrapping papers or dump them straight? Or... ? Do share your thoughts! =)

I do not reuse the same, reason, it won't be in good shape after opening it. My children are more excited and they may tear it off in a hurry.

@Raj7779 You have to be careful on opening the paper if you wish to reuse for anything. Nothing can be done with scattered pieces.

@Sreekala yes you are right that's why I used to open the wrapping paper so slowly and neatly.

Cool! So next time, if the wrapping still looks good and is nice, maybe you can consider reusing it. Even if you don't want to use them to wrap gifts, you can use the reverse side as rough paper. =)

My great grandmother used to open the wrapping paper so slowly and neatly when she got a present! And she always said U can use it again!! As for me, I throw them away and rip open the package! I really should reuse and recycle wrapping paper!!!

I used to reuse them more than I do now. Some paper can be ironed with a warm iron and look new again, but be careful you don't try it with the coated ones. I usually cut folds and tears, etc., out and use what's left. Bows, too. And ribbon can often be ironed and saved

Yea, gift bags are typically more lasting so we can reuse them more times. ;-)
