How do you deal with your nosey

i deal with very friendly .

We have been living in rented house for the past 10 years and I wife, my son and myself never had any problem with the neighbours. We invite them if there are parties and they do. We restrict the discussions to exchange of pleasantaries and do also do not seem to be inquisitive.

I planted big palms along my side of the fence, which blocks their view and shut my bedroom curtains if they are in the back garden. I have the tallest fences I can get and never tell them anything unless I am asked directly. I never ask them anything either, unless I have to. I say hello and try not to get involved, if possible. One side are not nice, she pyhsically attacked me a few months aglo and shouts abuse over the fence at me. The other side ar ok but I really wish my bungalow was detached so she couldn't desturb my boys when she's drunk and shouting about until 3am.
