Does bullying and hard times cause people to shoot/kill people in their schools and other places?

Is it a combination of bullying, hard times, mental and emotional issues? Or is it that people just have to much time on their hands? What do you think? And by the way, where does a kid anywhere from the age of 16-18 get an arsenal of weapons to kill others? Aren't the parents responsible for checking their childrens bedrooms and belongings? Are parents starting to have conversations about not threatening others with violence and death and the consequences it will have on their children or child?

There are a lot of factors as to why there are people who do shootings or killings are by-products of their upbringing and environment. It is mostly caused by the way they were brought up or treated as kids, at the same time they are witnesses to the things the adults do. It can also be caused by the surroundings, like the neighborhood and the friends they have associated with.

All the above Louise. Great answer. Then there's a possibility that someone may have all those issues. Scary and sad.

@itslikethistome that is a big possibility. Sadly, they are not given proper guidance and care.

@mlgen1037 that's so very true. We are living during a time period where raising children up to have good morals and good principles is lacking in many homes. It's so sad when you hear of parents or grandparents doing their own thing, being caught up in their own world rather than spending quality time with their children. Also, the parents or grandparents may have some emotional and mental issues that can adversely affect the children in that household.
