Do you think children should get spanked or hit on the bottom if they do something wrong?

I spank my kids. I think this is totally a view of what the parent thinks. As long as they are not being beat. An occasional spanking for doing something extreamly wrong I think is ok. But to each his own.

No, because spanking your children often leads to emotional trauma, thus making your children display poor behavioral traits such as a low self-esteem, poor social skills, poor academic performance, and in some cases a tendency towards violence.
