All media channels are aligned to one political party or the other. It comes from the management. Top brass. They do not use the name of the political parties or at times come up with news against the same party that they are supporting because they want to portray neutrality. In truth, it is pretty much decided whom we want to support.

@vandana7 Any party can buy them and have them run campaigns for elections which is illegal. That's the main point. And Kasganj riots and Karni Sena episode specifically proved that media houses were supporting whom.
(in those cases at least) while farmer agitation all over the country was largely ignored.

@Daljinder ... Yes...long ago, I read a book by in which the newspaper company is ahead of the other by creating news.
Competition is so much such things remain the only way for them.

@vandana7 But it is illegal. SC, I think, specifically stated that recently. I have noticed certain journalists deliberately deliver false news and promote communal polarization. Like Arnab Goswami, there was one from AajTak recently during riots of Kasganj for whom people were demanding to take action, this one has left some mainstream media before joining aajtak. These journalists have no ethos these days! Its sickening!
They didn't even spare PM of Canada with their conspiracy theories.

@Daljinder You know me. I'm not surprised. The news is sketchy. It's hard because you want to believe what the news tells you because....it's the news. But, also very hard when a lot of channels / news reporters etc get the information wrong whether by mistake or on purpose. Or they run news based on truth while leaving a lot of detail out. Or don't let us know anything at all about some things. It's all over the place. Or just serve us a whole bunch of lies.

@Raj7779 Yep! Me too. I have been questioning their motives for awhile and had stopped watching them. Arnab specifically needs to be gagged.
