Wouldn't it be cool if

all the discussion boards offered incentives just like the way myLot does? I've personally felt that with the advent of social media, forums and communities have died out because people prefer instant chat. After all, we're contributing to the community and helping the domain increase its rating and grow its online presence. What do you think?

MyLot is already a well known platform, it pays back for our contribution, so I like this place.

Yes I agree with you. Though I am still new here, I can say that myLot is one of the best sites I've tried

@Jessabuma Mylot is my oldest earning site available, it wasn't first and not the one oldest which is still online; yet the first where I started earning for post, task and search; it is available in interaction.

I prefer to talk to several people at a time versus just one person. That's why I like community forums like Mylot and Facebook. I only use instant messaging usually for talking to close friends. It would be nice if all discussion boards offer incentives. I always feel like every little bit helps.

I think on a lot of other social media sites people seem to post things which aren't as in depth and as personal as the discussions on My Lot.

That may depend on what the benefit is to the particular discussion board as they need to generate revenue to sustain those that contribute to it.
