Fascinated with Space Stations

Philippines

Hello mylotters, Back in the day, I used to read books about space travels. Started with missiles then space walks, then with the moon mission. But with space stations I first became fancy with sky lab were people do experiments with cramp areas. Then I got even more fancied with the MIR space station and how big it was. Sadly it crashed back in 2001. After that ISS came up which was bigger, which was even cool. It was not long that China started catching up but now I learned their space station will crash anytime this week. I seriously thought they're going to make it big like the ISS.
The Tiangong-1 space station weighs 9 tons and is headed for a collision with our atmosphere very soon. China's Tiangong-1 space station likely to crash over...

Hello @toniganzon oh yes that is true, it would be shame if they're the ones who didn't made it.

What goes up will come down I guess. Me too think it's amazing but don't really read or see enough around these topics.

@Letranknight2015 I told them to bring along some beans on the trip and vent the waist product so as to maintain flight but they wouldn't listen. What do you think of the shower unit on the ISS?

@Bluedoll It obviously not for me

Hello @Bluedoll Yeah, it had to come down simply because they ran out of money to maintain it. I'd be crying to see the ISS fall down the earth.

There are some news that are purposely being blown out of proportion to maybe divert our attention from something more catastrophic.. lol..

That is sad that the Chinese space station is going to crash. The space stations should be able to stay up there forever.

Hello @jstory07 well, they are new to the space race and i think it needs huge budget to keep the fuel going.

when it is twilight, i can see a steady-and-not-blinking white light in the west, and i know this is the ISS.

@Letranknight2015 it is like a white shining light so bright and it does not twinkle. try to search for it in the night skies. and why are you cynical?the ISS does not look like that machine that you post here in your discussion. remember that it gets its light as a reflection from the sun. you should know that. you are a college graduate, right?

That's cool. I recently watched the movie 'Gravity' and wondered if the depiction of the space stations was anything like real life. If so, I didn't expect them to be so messy inside!

Hello @XenaXav I hope so that this thing will just crash into the sea, thats the dilemna if you can't keep the station running.
