If your child tells you about being bullied listen calmly and offer comfort and support , kids are often reluctant to tell adults about bullying because they feel embarrassed and ashamed or worry that their parents will be disappointed , angry or upset. Then reassure him or her that you will figure out what to do about it together.

Did you ever experience bullying?

@Cristi_Ichim both. But I think the one who bullies should be given different lessons.

To be honest, I think bullies should be punished severely. This is the only solution to stop bullying in my opinion. Nothing else works.

@augusta123 I don't understand:
1. who is coward?
2. if the bullies are cowards then isn't that a good thing?

Teach them to be strong. Teach them to stand up for themselves without the need to hurt others as well.

@Berrygal that is right. There is a difference between being spanked and beating. The latter is to discipline the child. Beating is to abuse.

You can put the bully's parents on notice that if their bully child ever dares to beat your child again, then the bully child shall get a severe beating for his / her behaviour. Or you can tell the bully's parents that if they will not discipline their child then you will.

I wish I knew. I will come back to read the comments here, because probably will give a useful tip.

If you can train him to be strong and to withstand pressures , i think the bully will be reduced.
