I gave some money to a family member that came asking for some loan and was supposed to pay back 2 months ago but this is the end of the third month and she is yet to pay, called and she reluctantly picked my calls with the excuse of giving her more time and I need my money for some urgent stuff, how do you handle stuff like this?

I've learned that if you lend money to family or friend, count on never seeing it again.
It sucks, but rather than be disappointed, you are pleasantly surprised if they DO pay it back.

That is really unfair to the lender, this could stop the person from helping the next time

@augusta123 I agree. It IS very unfair to the lender. I know it would stop me from helping out next time. If you tell me you will pay me back when you can, that's one thing. But if you tell me you'll pay me back next week or when you get your paycheck, then I expect it then.

Most of the time my relatives are not paying me back and they avoided me.
