4am thoughts

Imagine that it's 4am and your still awake. A bit sleepy and tired but you can't sleep.
What will be the things that you usually think of when you can't sleep and still awake at 4am in the morning?
I personally have this 'How the universe works?' thoughts when I'm still awake at 4am and just staring at ceiling. Or sometimes how to organize stuff in my life. Haha

When I worked and I couldn't sleep I used to worry that I would be too tired to do my job properly. Now I'm retired I don't care as much so I usually play on my phone until I get sleepy.

@ramapo17 I don't often stay up all night but I do go to bed late sometimes, The only problem with that is my dogs like to get up early so start moving about once they hear the birds singing.

If I cant sleep usually I make myself busy by reading books or chatting with my friend, sometimes cleaning the whole house.

@cedie0808 LOL. I am alone every night and if I cant sleeping cleaning is one of my thing. :)

@Bhebelen14 haha. My girlfriend is also like that. Not because she doesn't have anything to do but because she's just a big clean freak. It's good though. Sometimes cleaning can take a lot of stress out of a person.

Nice! But cleaning the house at 4am? Wow. That's too early for me to do that kind of stuff. Or maybe I'm just a bit of a lazy person. Lol

Hahaha. Yes of course. But what do you usually think of at that time of the day? Without mylot and other stuff. Just you and the stillness of the night. Hehe

Fortunately, I'm still alive after those times that I think about the universe. Haha. I'm also quite fond of astrophysics (not an expert though) and such so that's probably why I'm having those kind of thoughts. Hehe. I'm a bit of a wierdo and a nerd.

Whenever I watch some movies or series when I can't sleep, I always just end up not sleeping at all because of watching. Haha
