Beautiful creatures how harmful are they?

I am use to the red and black beetle and the green catapillar but these two, I don't see often. My Mom and I enjoyed nature walking today I also got the chance to take one of my favorite flowers the hibiscus. Have you seen a bug and a Catapillar like this before?

We don't get pretty insects like that here. It is too hot and dry. I have seen a crazy mutant caterpillar before. But any biologist will say, look, but don't look so intently.

Why will they say look but not to hard? Will the bug fly on U and bite ?!!

@db20747 They might look beautiful but you can never tell how dangerous they are so you just have to look carefully.

I haven't seen a bug like that before. Looks like a striped lady bug. .But that kind of caterpillar, yes I have seen that.
