Hi friends,
Hope you all are great...!
Today I was going thorough a sight and show a very sad news. A class 10th student has committed suicide just because he could not attempt 3 questions of 3 Number each. He was planning to score 100 marks but as he has left 9 marks unattempted, so now he could not achieve what he wanted. So he came to home , went to his room and hung himself . I am surprised by this news as it's so unfair. I don't understand that why we pressurize our children that much that they decide to take such big step. We need to understand that we are in this earth , it itself shows that we are winner. We have struggled with billions of sperms to be born as a healthy person. We need to make our children understand this. We have to make them understand that life is very beautiful and marks and studies cannot be the only parameter in which life can be judged. There are many other fields and many other opportunities. We need to make our new generation understand this reality.

Society dictates that. Competition and surviving in this world pressure these kids to do exceptional things to survive.

Did your friend feel pressured by peers or his parents or did he put the pressure on himself. When things like this happens it is really sad and I feel that there must have been signs that went unnoticed.

I think parents have to "lighten up" and let their children know that they are loved no matter what. Some expectations are good, but those are best modeled by the parents. Hard working parents will yield hard working children. Hanging oneself because of an "A-" suggests that this person was feeling too much pressure.
