Do you Think Its Good to Add Coriander Leaves Or parsley in Dishes?

First Of all, Sorry if i am ignorant as I think both Coriander and Parsley are good and quite similar in there properties. I think its Good to add Coriander leaves in dishes and of course it can be used in all types of dishes, be they are Veg or of Non Veg Tradition and i like it a lot as it provides a great texture to food and is tasty as well and enhance the taste of the dish. What about you? Do you Think Its Good to Add Coriander Leaves Or parsley in Dishes? Please Share.

What is coriander? If you don't mind. Honestly, I am not familiar with this.

@Jessabuma You might know it as cilantro (the Spanish name). I believe that the Tagalog word 'kulantro' is from the Spanish.

I don't know what they look like. When I boiled meat, I will put some leaves in it. But I don't know the names of the leaves.

@thesupersingh Well just now I looked them up in dictionary. I know what they are now. In fact I often eat them in my dishes.

I guess they are Coriander as its quite common in Asian countries to use that

The leaves of cilantro/coriander and flat leaf parsley look very similar but they are totally different in taste. Coriander is quite bitter and, to many people, smells rather unpleasant while parsley is sweetish and has a pleasant aroma. It would be a big mistake to think that they are interchangeable!

I love both of them. I add coriander (we call it cilantro) only to Mexican-style dishes. Parsley gets used in everything else.
