These are my lovies!
As a solo parent by choice, I always make sure to attend my children's needs.
And they never fail to reciprocate it with good deeds.
I always tell them to enjoy school, never compete to avoid rivalry.
I tell them it is okay not to be on top of the class as long as they won't give me a failed mark.
I enjoy being a mom, i think this is my calling in life

My dad always told us kids to do the best we can, no matter the grade we got. I like that no pressure approach to life.

Yes, that way i can see their willingness to excel at school. But what's important for me is for them to pass.

Wow raising 3 boys by yourself. It is quite the job to raise young people into accomplished adults who are nice humans. I think you are wise to tell them it is ok to not have to be #1.
I've never wanted kids of my own.... just the way I am, I'm fine if they belong to someone else... don't really know my calling, wish I did...

@MrsPumpkins Thanks! It's true -- I just have never felt the inclination, though happily there are people who do wish to be parents - otherwise the world's future would be dire. :-)
