Do you love it or hate it when men cry?

None of the men in my life are "criers" so when I do see men cry I feel extrememly uncomfortable and don't know what to do. If they're crying because of a death or something like that then of course I feel very bad for them, but when they cry at the drop of a hat, I get annoyed.

I like it when men cry. It shows me that they are not afraid to show emotions. It also shows me that they are a real man for being able to cry.

Yeah, I agree that it takes a real man to cry, but what if he cried every single day? Or even multiple times a day?! I think there's crying that shows your feelings and crying that's being overly emotional, you know?

I respect it, I think it takes a real man to actually cry. I think it's silly for someone to hold in their emotions, it doesn't make you any more or any less macho.

I agree, I think it does take a real man to cry, but what about the man who cries because he can't find his keys? Or cries when he's drunk? That's just annoying. BUT! Girls who do that are annoying too, don't get me wrong, but it's just less common to see a guy doing that.

men shoul not cry, but if it happens, you can blame him, as a matter of facts, men can cry for some reason.

I just thank God they're able to. I'm completely opposite than you. Well, now anyway. My ex husband (years ago) wasn't a crier either, and it would freak me out when he would eventually cry. So I understand where you're coming from.

Yes, it is surprising and uncomfortable if a guy who never cries does all of the sudden. It's like, "WHAT DO I DO!!!??!!!"

If you're not used to it, yeah it can freak you out;) I only know one guy who is a crier, and when I say crier, I mean cries at everything. At first it was uncomfortable but after I saw that he cried all the time I just got annoyed.

Not too many men in my life cry either, but I like that when they do cry they feel comfortable enough to show such an emotion with me. But guys that cry at drop of a hat like a girl do get annoying like the episode of FRIENDS when Bruce Willis cried the whole episode.

Hahahahaahahha!!! I forgot about that episode-it was halarious;) But I agree, if that were someone I knew in real life, yes, very annoying. LOL!

Why should women have a monopoly on emotional expression? Men can be just as emotional as any woman, they also need to be allowed to express it just as anyone else does. They get depressed, their feelings get hurt and sometimes they, like some women, just need a good cry. I think it takes a real man to be able to express himself in this manner.

Yeah, I think they should express theiur feelings, but you've got to admit, there's a line between a man having a good cry and crying about every little thing like some girls do. lol

Oh, sure, when they were little-little boys cry all the time, but when it's a grown man it's unusual.

well...it depends how they cry...if i see a man that cries with screamings then yes i get anoyed but if he cries only with tears and not adding any sounds to that ...i must say i apreciate that..

LOL-screams while cries, I'm sorry that sounded funny! But you made a good point, I think it does matter how they're crying. If it's streams of tears down the face but nothing else, that wouldn't make it so uncomfortable....that'd actually make me really sad to see that. But if it's loud screaming sobbing, then h*** yes that's uncomfortable! If a GIRL were crying like that I'd feel uncomfortable.
