You state that you live in the Czech Republic. It would be interesting to know why you have to learn Czech then. What is your native language? Czech is only hard if you come from a different family of languages. It's certainly easy for, say, Poles. Would it be too much to ask if you wrote more than 17 words?

I speak English natively but I do understand french as well, so you can understand why I'm finding it slightly harder to learn :) I'm currently learning czech because I'm studying medicine in CZ. (Also yes, I'm still a little bit new to this)

@Jorann123 Many years ago I was in Prague and saw quite a lot of foreign students in the streets. Many Asians among them. I pity everyone who has to learn the Czech language! I studied and later taught Russian - also a tricky language. Yet, it is a language many people speak in the former Soviet Union. Whereas the Czech language is useful only for one country. Quite a lot of Germans study medicine in Hungary. But they offer courses in English at uni for the non-Hungarian students.

I started Arabic long ago in college, but I had to stop after a few months, because the schedule was not compatible with my main time schedule. I would be interested to start to learn it again.
