So I started bleeding at 3 today and been spotting since. So my sister in law took me to the emergency room after I talked to my Dr on the phone and found out after 3 hours of waiting I have been miscarrying after all. 9 weeks pregnant would have been tomorrow. I'm hurt but I'll make due. Thought I would tell everyone what happened today. Doesn't help I was stressed and im RH negative.

Blood is either pos or neg, and certain issues can arise because different polarity in bloods see the other as an invader that needs corrected. Like our immune system to a cold...
In short, I'm so sorry! Having been there be sure to see Dr for follow up appointed. Its very important considering the rh factor.
I know no words of comfort help. Its awful going through it. Again, I'm so sorry!

@carebear29 I knew people were either positive or negative, with A, B or O blood types, but never heard of positive or negative with RH, so got confused.. good to know, thanks. And sorry again.
I should probably find out what blood type I have..

Nikki, I am at loss for words for what happened. I have never been pregnant but I have friends who experienced it and I saw how devastated they were. Praying for you, dear friend.

Felt very sad to know about it! Please take care, as I understand one can gets disturbed mentally to face such situations! You are Rh -ve, you must have been given with Anti D injections! No? Some times there are some factors which are beyond our control! Be courageous and things will be alright for you once again! God bless!

@carebear29 id despite taking all needed precautions some factors beyond our control can cause such mishaps! Inj. rhogam is very effective and is widely used all over the world with minimum side effects! God bless! Thanks!

@carebear29 I know what it means but I was pretty sure when a family member had two miscarriages and it was found to be because of being RH negative that they gave her something for her to take so she would not miscarry the third time.

Even better...
Which says "When is RhoGAM Administered?
RhoGAM only needs to be administered when Rh-negative blood may potentially be exposed to Rh-positive blood.
This most commonly occurs during pregnancy and blood transfusions. For Rh-negative women who are experiencing their first pregnancy, RhoGAM is usually not administered until their 28th week of pregnancy, and then again within 72 hours after delivery.
For every subsequent pregnancy after the first, RhoGAM will need to be administered at regular intervals, especially during the second half of the pregnancy.
It is also extremely important for Rh-negative women to receive this injection after any miscarriage or abortion in order to avoid future pregnancy complications."
Learn more about the medication RhoGAM, including why it is used, how it is used, when it is used, its side effects, and much more. This drug is a true medical breakthrough in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.

I'm so sorry for your loss, I know how devastating this can be. My sister had a miscarriage twice & was depressed from it for awhile and still has depression to this day. She does have one daughter now though so that helps her a bit. I hope you can get thru this & hopefully you can try again in the near future.
