I've got suggestion from my grandma. She forbids me to get sleeping in the afternoon closer to sunsets time. I don't know what is the reason of it. But she told me that is not good for human. Why? Do you know about this one?

You will be unable to sleep at night. You will be sleeping late.

It's merely a culture. Look if someone has duty in night shift wouldn't he/she sleep in daytime?. If you will sleep in the night time, then you don't need to sleep in evening time(unless extremely tired).

I think this is the notion prevailing in most of the countries! I think if we sleep at dusk we may get up after some time and may npt get the sleep required for the night, which in turn can be bad for the health. So I think they discourage us from going to sleep at the dusk! Thanks @Shola9 !

When I was in college, I like sleeping at around 4pm. Mainly because I don't get enough sleep at night and at am. My mother always tells me to avoid sleeping at that hour and wait for 8pm so i can rest well at night.

You could have a headache especially when you are facing the sun as you sleep. Don't ask me why it happen to me sometimes.

If you're going to sleep closer to sunsets, you would probably sleep late at night that's why it's not good. Our body must be resting 9 pm or 10 pm onwards.

Maybe you will feel awake in the midnight. I usually sleep in the afternoon 12pm-2pm.
