I am sure you have heard of the saying from the late Yogi Berra which is "It ain't over till it's over." MGA Entertainment CEO Isaac Larian placed a bid of approximately $890 million dollars in an attempt to buy the Toys R Us store both in the U S and Canada. If Larian is successful at buying the Toys R Us stores, he will be saving more than 130,000 jobs that would have lost since the toy company that has been in service for 70 years is currently under bankruptcy protection since last fall under Chapter 11. Larian who is a native of Iran, is being called "crazy" by his critics in his attempt to save Toys R Us from closing their stores. Even though I have never shopped at Toys R Us, I am hoping that :Larian will be able to save the store that has a great image of serving children for 70 years by buying the stores and save some jobs even though many critics are saying that Toys R Us stores are a thing of the past in this age.

I hadn't heard that someone wants to save the store and actually buy it. That would be good. I've shopped the store many times and enjoy the atmosphere it gives.

I hope that Issac Larian can buy Toys R Us and keep the stores open for the customers in America and Canada since they have a great image.

I was surprised to hear that too. The stores are having closing sales? I guess mismanagement plus competition from places like Walmart were just to much. There will be a lot of sad children if Larian does not buy the franchise.
The 60-year-old American toy store chain is planning to sell or close all 800 of its U.S. stores. Subscribe to The Washington Post on YouTube: http://bit.ly/...
