For me love will not wear out with time. It will surely change, change for the better. Time will make love stronger and stronger.

If it's true and pure, it will never wear out.

This is the first post I've read of quailty worth answering in the last 30 minutes of sifting through nonsense post. I don't think love can wear out no, but lust can fade without a doubt. Love grows. Lust is temporary, it's what people confuse with the realness of love. Love is unconditional.

Thank you very much. I share the same sentiments with you. People often confuse love with lust.

Different temperaments may bring on difficulties in the relationship but if love is strong everything will work out smoothly.

I think love changes with time. In any marriage or longterm relationship I think that you fall in and out of love many times. In the end all of your hardships just make you stronger though.

I think that the newness of love wears out, but if you have a deeper love for someone then it won't go away.

Think about this. Does a mothers love for her child ever wear out? My answer is NO. For me I love my husband more today that I did the day we got married.

To decide to love means to renew that choice every day and to work at deepening the relationship.

Love will never wear out, it will develop and grow. The bond will get better as you know each other better, and there will always be things to discover, and that will make you appreciate the person even more and realize not to take them for granted.

I think love grows with time. It changes.
We cant all experience that huge adrenaline rush all the time - we would be exhausted.
Love develops into a very deep and intimate kind of friendship over time.
Well thats been my experience anyway :)

Wow very well said. I think friendship grows despite distance and absence of communication... that goes for me as well. But how about for lovers and married people. Do you think the love will be sweeter over the years?
