Oh What a Beautiful Morning! Oh What a Beautiful Day!

Today is a repeat of yesterday and it's absolutely beautiful. It's hard to believe that yesterday morning I had the heat on but by evening we had to turn on the air conditioning. We have lots of sunny weather today and it's up in the 80's F which requires the a/c to continue to run. However, our beautiful weather will be short-lived as rain is coming and the temperatures will drop once again. I see many of my neighbors power washing their decks and bringing out the patio furniture that was put away for the winter. There's so much activity outside that it feels as if the neighborhood has come to life. I'm not putting my patio furniture out yet as my son and son in law want to power wash and then sand and restain my deck before the summer. It makes no sense to drag that stuff out only to be put back again when the job needs to be done. My deck really shouldn't need to be restained so soon as it's less than 5 years since it was done. The stain has totally peeled and it looks horrible. Last time I hired someone to do it but this time my guys said they could manage to get it done for me. After a quick trip to Sams Club earlier I have the rest of the day to relax and enjoy. Hopefully we can get to barbecue our dinner tonight while the weather is still nice.
