You cannot Have Water After Banana?

India
April 16, 2018 7:26am CST
We follow that strictly here and i try not to have water anytime after i have Banana that is raw Banana and not in any other way. I just googled and got this below info: Drinking water after eating bananas makes it hard to digest because of the inherent properties of the fruit which are similar to that of cold water. ... When your digestive system is not functioning properly, all the good nutrients from the food you eat may remain unabsorbed What about you? DO you follow this? Do you avoid water after having Banana? Please share.

@thesupersingh I think there are only some varieties of bananas that are hard to digest. Not all bananas are the same.

Not just only banana. We shouldn't have to take water after having meal or anything else, food digest due to warm produce in our stomach and if you drink just after having any food, the warmness gets cool and the ability to digest become weak.

In fact, Ayurveda and even other medical sciences suggest that one should not take water after having any fruit - whether apples, watermelon, grapes , bananas or other fruits.

I usually drink a glass of water after eating fruit and never though there was any harm in doing so, does it affect any other fruit?
