It depends on the situation,
If you are the breadwinner of the family and your job is the only source of income you have to stay on your job, there are many other ways to take good care of your kids..

@sakura20 , in my country kids are with their parents till they don't get married, so for me it won't be a big problem to keep her with me till she gets married! In fact in our country parents take care of the children as far as their upbringing and education is concern, together with all other facilities needed for them! Thanks!

I think I will try to balance family and my work. It is important to earn more so that your family and children will have a better life. Of course it doesn't mean that you have to give up them. If I was in such a situation, I would tell my child why I needed to work and in fact children are reasonable. He will have his own time and I will have mine. I work so that we can buy something we want and travel around. And I will play with my son when I don't have to work. Children will understand.

I will leave my job for the sake of my kids provided that I'm financially stable or have other sources of income. You can do some business or on-line job.If you have some passive income like a farm or real estate , it's better.Money is not everything but if you don't have a choice,it's better to keep your job. It's a matter of prioritizing according to your needs.

That depends on the situation. Since I have a husband, I might consider resigning since I can do online jobs and my business at home. If I am a single parent, that would be hard because I have to provide for my kids.

Since I am the only provider for my family I would have to explain to my child that I can't quit my job. I would explain all the reasons why I have to stay at my job, but would come up with ways to spend more quality time with her. Maybe set aside one day that you spend with your daughter and do something that she wants to do. I am sure it is hard for her to comprehend the reasons you need to work when she sees other children's moms not working. The grass always looks greener on the other side.
