A house fire that broke out in a home in the 2000 East Forest Lane in Colbert Washington this morning required the services of the Colbert Washington Fire Department not only to put out the fire.
The firefighters rescued a dog that was inside the burning home that was burned down to the ground on Monday morning.
A neighbor made the 911 call to inform the firefighters that a house was on fire since the occupants of the home were not inside the home at the time.
The Colbert Firefighters are going to investigate the cause of this fire that will leave the owner of the home looking for a new place to live.
The silver lining in the dark cloud is that the dog is safe and sound.

Me too since a home can be rebuilt but a life cannot be replaced.

Me too since losing a home is heartbreaking. Losing a dog or cat in a fire is really bad.

That is true since a home can be rebuilt, a loss of a dog cannot be replaced.
