Limit caffeine from my diet, turn off computers and cell phones before I go to bed, stop thinking of things that I need to do the next day, try to focus on dreaming so I get pulled into sleep faster, and so on. It used to take me three hours before I could fall asleep at night. Now it might take 30 minutes.

@roselavon25 Oddly enough, the sound of a sleeping animal makes me very tired. Our one dog breathes very loudly when asleep, and it makes me want to sleep as well.

Go to Youtube, wear your headphones and watch a speed tapping video. I swear speed tapping can make you feel sleepy. There are also mic brushing videos, they are also relaxing.
This is the search results:
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
