Do bearded dragons make good pets? I saw 3 of them that an acquaint of my husband had. The 3 each had there own aquarium tank. Feeding them seem like it doesn't cost that much but the bearded dragon itself seem expensive.

Yeah, a lot of lizard species do. Compared to some of the others, bearded dragons are a bit more finicky. They can get pretty expensive to keep as adults since they require a lot of crickets and/or mealworms, and they have to have a good variety of fruits and veggies to stay healthy. They go on sale pretty frequently at the major pet stores for around $30. The "special" color varieties sell for more online. Every so often I see them listed fairly inexpensively for rehoming on Craigslist, though.
