Do you still buy any book (physical or e-book) other than textbooks or reference books? Why?

In many countries, libraries provide most if not all of 'hottest' books in every major genre. For me, now I only read books borrowed from libraries and not buying any from bookstore. It's true that I am somewhat frugal, but I also see no point in keeping books at home. Do you still buy any book (physical or e-book) other than textbooks or reference books? Why?

@BitCastDaily Share the same opinion with you. But my daughter is not the same. She likes books so much and keeps many collections.

Many of my friends like the feeling of touching and flipping through pages, and also the smell of books. I like these sensations too but they are not addictive enough for me to keep collections of books at home.

I love books and I love to keep books for future reference. We regularly buy books.

For future reference, I prefer googling things up instead of looking up from books, lol. But I do love reading books and I regularly borrow books from libraries.

@LadyDuck Wow, those are more than just books, they are invaluable antiques of historical significance

We buy a lot of books here (printed only) and we keep some for future reference and give the others away.

E-books are handy sometimes, it's easy to access on iPad or any e-reader.

Yes, I do and I write books too! I love to write! I would obviously want people to buy my books, so I buy others'.

Cool Preethi, how do you publish your books? Through Lulu, CreateSpace or Kindle?
