Luna´s vet fell in love with her.

I am now mylotting after Luna´s vet´s visit. She came here and found Luna beautiful although a bit skinny. I will have to make her eat more.
Karla put vaccines, something against parasites and finally inserted a chip. I think that the chip is not something that will serve any purpose yet. It will, later on, when the country is aware that pets should be chipped. But now, if a pet is stolen, no chip will bring it back.
Still, it is a good idea to start implementing such things. When there´s a law or rule, things start happening slowly.
Luna behaved very well with the vet, except when she was inserting the chip. And right now, after all the stress, she is fast asleep. Maybe I should take a nap now too

Microchips are only helpful if the dog gets out and she is picked up and taken to a shelter or vet office with a chip scanner. The chip # will be registered with your contact info. The chip doesn’t do anything by itself. It also doesn’t help if someone takes the dog or if they find her and decide to keep her.

True. So I said, oh well, let´s do it. It seems that from a date on, pets should be chipped by law. If they aren´t, owners will be fined.

She had to be held by me and she cried during the proceedings. But it was a couple of seconds.

@LadyDuck She cried for 2 seconds. But she fidgeted a lot prior to the chip as the vet had to take her in a certain way. Even with my help, she did not like it.

My brother told me yesterday that all puppies were adorable. I think Luna is cuter than other puppies.

The vet said she would not be ready for walks until 3 more months at least. She is a baby.

Preiti loves her Vet. The other day there was a bone that got stuck in her pallet. She never let me touch her but when the Vet arrived she was wagging away and the Vet had no problem pulling it out.

Glad everything went well. She is cute. I would not worry too much about the skinny if she is a very active puppy. Some just keep it burnt off playing and running.

@marguicha I have the runt of a litter here and she grew slow at first. Then all of a sudden she took off. She is now almost as big as her 80 pound dad when it first looked like she would be about the same as her 40 pound mom. I just feel bad for you when those growth spurts hit. Jill can not get enough food during that time. She eats almost constantly sometimes.

It's good that all these things have now been done and that Luna and the vet have met each other. I'm sure they'll get along just fine.
