While some members may find it motivational others may find it discouraging to those who won't get any recognition! This I am saying from the responses in one of my discussion where I was expressing to restart the best response in the discussion which we used to have previously on this site! Thanks @MsBooklover!

@chavezrmc , That is what we used to do previously. Yes it is difficult to determine who is good in general! Thanks!

@MsBooklover , Yes, but then there was no benefit in earning wise ! It used to be a big booster for the persons participating in the discussions and we used to have some really interesting responses then! Thanks!

@AKRao24 if i can remamber it well, the one who started the post will be the one to choose the best answer from those who responded.its not really a problem. But if you will do it in general it will be very difficult to determine. who's who.

That will encourage everyone to do better and give their best ideas on the subject. It can be an inspiring thing to do. We must all remember that there's no wrong answer here because everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Those without prizes would be feeling bad...and may leave.

That is true. We never really grow out of feeling slighted if we don't win.

No. I just wish myLot would give a penny for each discussion we start.

Then, some members would start submitting twenty discussion a day, that are meaningless.

I agree with @JolietJake. I used to work on a site called WebAnswers. They had a 'best answer' feature but people would vote for their friends whether it was the best answer or not so it wasn't really fair. I think it would cause bad feeling amongst members here and perhaps drive people away.

Not a bad idea. Maybe they should to inspire others to write a more interesting topic.

I would be happy if they had other ways to make money.

This would turn My Lot into a contest, 'My writing was so much better than his or hers! Why did they win, instead of me?' Members would be competing with each other and at odds, most of the time:(

After reading the post and the thread of comments so far, I tend to agree with the consensus of most that it would be difficult to do, people would take it the wrong way, it could be abused and so on and so forth. I think @just4him actually said it best. "We are rewarded every month with money in our PayPal."

I have a feeling that even if you did not win any prizes, you would be happy for those who did.

Usually people with a lot of friends on here would get the most likes. There would have to be votes.

I think it'd be hard to maintain but any other perks would be nice.
