A thought

I'm thinking maybe I could also use this as a way to document my day. I think that would push me to do more interesting things rather than lay in bed with my cats. Maybe I'll start writing little stories on here, or some of my dreams (because they can get insane)

Or you can use it to make new friends. You caught me at cats....how many do you have? Right now I only have one, but once I rebuild from the fire I'll have more.

I have three, currently. I've had as many as six at one time though. But, when I move soon I will be only taking two of my cats.

@Savannahk I hope that you will try to rehome the one you won't be taking with you. The hardest thing on a cat is being in a shelter. I've had as many as 9 cats. I work with the local shelters taking in and working with the hardest cases that have been horribly abused. Petey, the only cat I have now, is a victim of being kicked very hard. He had been kicked in the rib cage under his front leg. It broke his ribs and has really changed the structure of his rib cage area around his heart. It's a wonder it didn't kill him! He now is a real character and loving living with me. He comes in the house when he wants to, and he gets to ride on my boyfriends golf cart. He really loves riding on the golf cart! We do a security sweep of our community every day around 4 p.m. and Petey rides with us. He proudly sits on our laps or on the seat beside us. He has even sat on the roof of the cart for part of the ride! The other 8 cats are memorialized with a line of bears and other critters that I am creating to make money for the shelter that I had gotten most of them from. I lost the other 8 last year and I am still hurting from the loss. One day I will start being a home for cats again...that's why I prefer to hear that a cat was rehomed rather than put in a shelter. Shelters confuse them so terribly and they can't understand "WHY" they are suddenly locked up in a cage with people poking their fingers through the bars and they aren't allowed to be free in the shelter. There are also people that just leave the poor kitty to fend for itself at the home site. They figure that it is kinder than taking the cat to a shelter. Cats can't survive on the little that they can catch or scrounge from the garbage. Plus it leaves them open for dog attacks, being hit by cars, people choosing to abuse them and so much more. Rehome first, if you can't do that then choose a no-kill shelter. Please!!!!
