It's Laundry Day - YEA!

I usually do laundry on Saturday or the latest on Sunday, but with this past weekend, that wasn't possible. So my clothes have piled up in the basket to overflowing, and I'm fast running out of clothes. I'll be running out faster next month, but that's another post.
So, my son called a couple hours ago and said today would be a good day to do it. Why? He's not going to work. He broke his foot. I'm guessing he'll be back to work tomorrow. He's not one to let something like that hold him back. He broke it at work.
So, I'll be leaving here shortly to get my laundry done. By the way this is my new swimsuit. I wore it this morning and got many compliments on it. I figure I'll be changing it again in June. That is if my weight keeps going down and I keep slimming down as I have been. I also did 8 minutes today on the elliptical in the fitness center, and it feels like it too.
Okay, I need to get ready to leave. When I get home, I'm going to need to work on a book, but I will try to get more notifications done.
What are your plans for the day? Thanks for reading.

Love your new smaller swimsuit! I'm so sorry your son broke his foot and surprised he's able to return to work so soon. I'm washing a rug that Doodles vomited on. It's his own that's used at his litter box to wipe the litter off his feet. Sigh....

Thank you. It feels smaller, though it's the same size as the other. The other was faded bad and so misshapen. The dress style was more than I could handle. I'll never buy that style again. The new suit feels so much better in the water too. I'm not hampered by a skirt any longer. Though I don't expect this one to last too long, as far as my using it that is. I'm expecting to be down to a 12 by June.
I'm sorry Doodles was sick. I hope he's feeling better now.

Oh no! He must be in some pain! Surprised, like Dianne, that he'll be returning so soon.
It's a very cute suit! You always have good taste!
I also love blues and purples.
Glad you're able to do your laundry today!
Spring cleaned, and made brownies today.

He doesn't have a cast, only an ace wrap and a boot which is surprising, though they, he has two fractured bones in the top of his right foot, aren't bad breaks he said, and will be back to normal in five weeks. He does have a boot and crutches.
Thank you. I love it!

Sorry to hear about your son's foot. If he is back to work tomorrow, he is a go-getter like his mother. Glad you are getting your laundry done. I dislike when my piles up. That is a beautiful swimsuit.

That's a very nice swim suit, I really like it! Sorry about your son's broken foot, that's terrible:( We do laundry quite often, throughout the week and at times we let it build up, also. I'm not sure what the elliptical is, I think it's two walking ramps, that rotate around. I liked the treadmill, when I had a health club membership.

No, it's not a ramp and it doesn't rotate. It's two steps that glide back and forth, making it easy on your knees as you're not lifting your knees to step. There are also handle bars so you can give your arms a workout too.
Thank you. I really like it. It will be short lived though as I'll no doubt be replacing it in June.
It's not as bad as I expected, though he did break it in two places on top, but they are fractures and expected to heal in five weeks, so that's good.

Thank you. It's a big change over that swim dress I had. I love the new suit. Yes, I was counting the number of pants I had to the next laundry day and would just make it. I didn't realize I had so many pairs of pants. I have lots of shirts and plenty of underwear, but it is good to get it done before everything runs out.
We're having a large rummage sale at church next month and a lot of the clothes I've been wearing all winter, including some of those pants will be in the rummage sale, though not a sale as it's a free give away. I'm going to be looking for size large pants soon as the ones I have now are starting to need pulling up. Love this diet!

@FayeHazel Out of desperation about a year ago when I couldn't get hold of my daughter to do laundry, before my son moved and bought his washer and dryer, I had to go out and buy more underwear and sports bras. Now I have enough to make it two weeks with ease. Not so much pants though. I have two drawers of socks.

@just4him Oh shoot! I would love to look through your clothes. I'm happy you are seeing results from your diet.
Ah yes. I don't like my thighs exposed (just a personal thing) and finding swimsuits that aren't swim dresses gets tricky.
I too bought lots of socks and underwear so I can go until I have a full load of laundry. lol. Maybe that is lazy of me?
