We all like our dear ones and loved ones and there are special names which we gave to our life partner, Husband, Wife, Boyfriend, Girlfriend and like that.
I think calling " baby" is quite a common thing these days or even in the past as well and it can be from both, So Boyfriend/Husband can call Baby to Girlfriend/ Wife and vice versa as well And Its very sweet as well.

Yes, we call each other like this. I do not think that I do like it, just got used to. With the time, I will change it, as it is not a good word for calling your adult husband (according to psychology)

@thesupersingh Just some psychologists say that if you call your husband like a child (baby, sweety...), it will reduce his ability to grow in business, as a man, in financial sphere and so on...
My husband loves "baby," so I use it, but I hope that soon we will find a new word, ore suitable for our age and plans

baby, babe, hunny, and sweetie / sweetheart are very popular around here. But I stopped doing that when I was like 18-19. lol. he's just, his name. as is everyone else.
