This sounds hilarious actually. I am sure most aren't even aware of it and even i just learnt about it now. There is a Durian fruit which is so weird and so smelly that its impossible to eat them but we can see some rare who like it but this fruit smells so bad that its banned and even illegal in many counties to carry it in Public Transport or to have in Public. Many even burst into spontaneous fits of vomit smelling the fruit. What are your views about it? Are You Aware Of The Most Weirdest Fruit In The World? Please Share. Pic Owned by Stylecraze.com

You will not like the smell but it is delicious and believe to have a nutritional value. It is believed that the fruit is loaded with anti oxidant and prevents cancer and a lot more diseases and even its leaves too has a healing power.

I love it. I wish I had a tree and I could eat some every day. How could something so ugly, so smelly, taste so good? I guess that we should never judge a fruit by its appearance and smell!

It will take 10 years before it can bear fruits and you cannot harvest it. You have to wait for to drop from the trees.

I've only heard of it from watching Bizarre Foods With Andrew Zimmern. And, hearing his description of it, I'm perfectly content to never come in contact with it.
Andrew Zimmern can handle all kinds of bizarre food except durian!

Isn't it spelled Durian? I didn't know about it until I read about the monster version in Rosario to Vampire Season 2. Those Durians turned out to smell just like blood when sliced open.

No, and if it's that bad, does anything eat it. What is it good for. Live and learn.

It even stinks. Ha ha..but that said, there are many fruits that we could grow in our country instead of fighting for loan waivers and whatever. It is so weird. If they have that much money to waste their produce, why should they be eligible for loan waivers. So said to see milk wasted like that. This country has so much malnutrition. They could have gone and given to orphanages and old age homes and such institutions instead of selling in the market. We simply don't deserve anything. Earlier somebody did like that with bananas out here. And eggs. So sad! There are plenty of fruits that grow in lands that do not have much water. Aloe vera does not need much water too. And crop gives decent returns. Lands can be classified and crops dictated. Subsidies can be offered for lower produce by taxing the produce that fetches higher returns. Self sustaining system. Weird, that destruction is the only way we Indians understand. Even the calf of the cow would be better off. How could they do it?

Yes,I love Durian. Most Durian fruits have that weird foul smell but it depends on the variety. There are varieties which are not that foul smellier and have bulkier and creamier taste. The first time that I tasted it, I also don't like it but when I tried better variety I loved it now until now.

OH yes I am very much aware of this fruit you can smell it a mile off. It smells beyond horrible. I reluctantly put one piece in my mouth and took it out immediately. I could not get rid of the taste for the rest of the day. Imagine having the taste of diesel in your mouth for the day! Horrible horrible horrible.
