Well it is bad because it is against school rules. it is fun to experience though.

What's the point of it, if you are just cheating off someone else then your not really learning anything and what if they have it wrong? Then you have it wrong as well, best to do your own work and not cheat otherwise you will never make it through life on your own merits.

I'm still clapping for you. You have said the basic truth. But there is this topic in ethics that talks about end justifing the means. This is called teleology in ethics. Therefore, some people believe cheating is not since its not going to hurt anyone on the long-run.

it is setting a trend that can continue in work, and in finance, so if it is discovered it should be addressed early on

I think it is a very bad thing to do. The person does not learn anything by cheating off of someone else's paper or test. How do they know the answers will be right and the teacher if they are the same answers will check it out so can get caught doing it.
