I Guess we all have or at least most of us have some ambitions or targets in life, Like Becoming a Doctor, Engineer, Scientist or something like that or may be some others which is dependent on the particular person. And Then if we are unable to complete our Ambitions we try to push our Kids /Nephew/Niece to complete those. I like to know about your views about it. What about you? Do You Like To Complete Your Ambitions Through Your Kids /Nephew /Niece? Please share.

I won't complete my ambitions through my daughter. But I will try my best to help her if she needs me.

I think it is terrible to try to live your life through your kids. They need to be free to do their own thing.

Not at all. Unless they value you so much and want to follow your dreams instead of their very own.

I was guilty of it for a while with my eldest son. I always loved drama and once imagined a life for myself on stage. But that dream was never realized. But then I saw that my eldest son had a knack for storytelling. He's a natural. So I would scout for all these events so he could participate and win exposure. Thing is, while my son has a knack for storytelling, he doesn't really like public performances. I do. After a while I realised he was unhappy about it and I backed down.
