Can you Adopt A Stray Dog As your pet?

Kobe was dumped with four other pups, to die in a cardboard box. Someone found them and took these 5 week old dogs to the veterinarian, who saved their lives. I adopted Kobe, the runt of the litter, at the animal shelter.

I rescue dogs from the shelter that were strays before they picked them up. I have adopted two dogs. of which one just passed way over hte weekend. I now have a new one that I adopted yesterday, and I am glad we found each other, as he has had a hard life but now his life is going to be filled with love.

@thesupersingh We do have lots of stray animals in Jerusalem. There are more stray cats than dogs. Actually my ex found a cat wandering in the street and brought her home to me.

We haven't tried adopting stray dogs but my dad always adopting stray cats.

No way at present. I don't mind to feed them, but adopting is impossible at present.

We rarely have stray dogs here as all dogs that don't have owners are rounded up and kept off the streets. I think it is good to adopt a stray dog as a pet.

It is hard to adopt one; although I pity dogs who roam and search for their own food.
