Hi! Badly need some flower suggestions!

These days, I was getting through a whole lot of stress regarding exams and the only thing to keep me sane enough was coffee and my friend. Now, after the exams, I want to thank her by giving her a flower.
I know flowers work with a lot of symbolism, so, I am confused regarding what to actually get her. I want something that can equally portray my thankfulness and good feelings about our friendship.
So, any suggestions??

Give her a sunflower and if she asks you why a sunflower then tell her she made your stressful day alive during those times she was at your side and she had brighten your day.
