It is funny how things change....it is true...we really need to take a walk in the shoes of others.

When I came to live here, I noticed that there was a man who worked as a janitor. He was quiet and not one to speak or have a conversation. I was usually in the office center using one of the computers. He would come in and start whistling...each and every time. I was not fond of it. I just wanted peace and quiet. Then one day, there was a job opening as his co-worker. Needing the work, I took the job. Well, the job is very, very dull. It is downright boring. It is tiring. I still noticed that he whistled all the time. He whistled all kind of songs..even The Young and Restless theme song which I like. After working with him for a long time, he told me that he whistles to distract himself from the boredom. It got to the point where i really needed him to whistle because I felt the same way. Not only does he have a fine whistle, he has a beautiful singing voice. I give him requests.

I'm glad you had a chance to see life from his point of view.

so true! I try hard not to judge others. Its easy to do that, but one book really helped me in seeing things from others shoes. Its called "the four agreements".
