I read an article online. It said that anxiety is permanent. And we have to live with it our entire lives. This is very depressing. And many people say that this is a chronic disorder that can't be healed. Even my therapist told me to learn to live with the symptoms of anxiety. What do you think?

Hey there, Well, in my opinion, "anxiety" is a name we gave to a set of symptoms. Making things short, it's similar to wanting to live in and change the future. People who suffer from anxiety usually tend to care a lot about future events. They are "anxious" about things that still didn't happen. They want to be able to make things happen in a peaceful way, or the way they want. Before they talk to someone, they think: "Will this person like me? Will I sound rude? Will I sound cool?". Before going to a job interview, scenarios are imagined, including ones in which the anxious get the job, for example. How will his life be, then? What about the transportation? It's far. What about the wages? Will it be enough? How much will they be willing to pay? I used to be extremely anxious. To the point that it even created some social blocks to me. But you know what? It's all about your mindset. It's all about how you see life, how you interact with life. Yes, it can be changed. It can be cured. Is it easy? Of course not. It's really hard, by the way. But you can overcome it. There are certain techniques you can use to help you on the way. Regards!

@dya80dya Yes, I did. I'm not half as anxious as I was before. Of course, it was a long process. I learned to see life differently. :)

Anxiety is from feel anxious we will always have feelings so we need to learn to shifts our thoughts and focus to help calm down the anxious feeling in some cases we can do this easily in others cases some may need some helps from a med to help them calm down.. like some i know with anxiety related disorders just take a med and calm down and rest and they are fine. You can also look up DBT therapy and learn some skills from this, and go to psychotherapist or others therapists to helps. Not not all forms of anxiety lead to meds some just lead to new learning managing and coping skills and forms of self soothing... it is nothing to be ashamed of everyone has their challenges they deal with and i do not know anyone who does not deal with some form of anxiety at some time in their life.... I use singing, chanting, music, writing, drawing and positive imagery and affirmations to help me battle anxiety... I am calm, I am Strong. Each and every day i am getting better and better. Learn what makes you anxious and learn how to avoid the triggers and learn what to do immediately when you can not avoid those triggers.. I recommend to everyone to look up and learn pranic breathing this helps people calm down pretty well. :) .. you can also if you every learned from the original karate kid how to pray.. try that technique :) .. that helps too,
