Ok . . how many of you out here live on a military base?? I do. Now, how many of you have several problems with your water and your electricity??? I DO!! Last week, we were out of water for 2 days. This week, mainly today and yesterday . . .we have gone without power for several hours. Last night we had no power for like 4 hours . . .right now we have no power . . . but lucky for me, my neighbor has a big fat generator we can run off of. But this is retarded. Did the people who run our housing forget to pay the electric bill or something???This is just getting ridiculous. How long are we going to be without power tonight? UGH. SOmetimes living on base it great, but then there's times like now when I absolutely HATE it!!!

I've lived in base housing for most of the 17 years my hubby has been in for. We are overseas now, and we lived on the economy for a few years, and then moved into GRHP housing, which is a form of military housing, but it is not on the actual base.
I never had problems with our electric or water when I lived in base housing. At our last base, we always had issues with the plumbing.

I, too, have lived on base some time ago. As I can't say we had any problems with water, we would have regular power outages. We would sometimes loose power and I also wondered if someone forgot to pay the bill. But then we would also receive notices saying that we would be without power for a few hours.
Now, why would we be scheduled to be without power? I never got it. But only hated it when the temp outside was not nice.

Sorry you are having alot of problems. We use to live on a military base overseas along time ago. There was one time we went without power for I think two days. That was due to a typhoon though. They really should have some sort of generator so stuff like that doesn't happen.
