Today has been a very good day. I put my time in at work after which I went to breakfast with my sister. It was delicious. I was home in time to do a little work online and then I took a nap before I had to pick my children up from school. I have the next two days off which since I was off so early today feels like three days off in a row.
After picking my children up, I have been working steadily online and feel like I am making some head way. The sun has been shining and the temperature has been around 70 degrees. Perfect weather to top the perfect day. Everything today has put me in such a good mood and I love that feeling!!

Well most of April was cold and we had snow and freezing rain a few days of the month. Yesterday was the first day it really felt like Spring was actually here. Today is supposed to get up to around 80 degrees. My dog enjoyed the sunshine as well. I hope to get a few things done today that I have been putting off. Thanks!!

@morgoodie It was a little windy today although sunny but I looked at the forecast and it's pouring with rain again tomorrow. I did boring things like defrosting the freezer and doing the washing .. I lead such an exciting life

@sprite1950 Only the most exciting person does those kinds of things. I am sooooo jealous!! It is warm here with hardly any breeze. The birds are chirping and the squirrels are chasing each other through the grass. I love being able to have the windows open. Don't get too crazy doing all those fun chores.

Good to know that. The sun is shining here too but the weather is too hot. Yesterday it touched almost 42 degree C and expected to remain the same for next few weeks. But the good news is that I will be back to Sydney in couple of weeks where the weather is in the range of 6-18 degree C in May and June. I hope the weather condition is still the same in your place... have a nice time.

I am glad you will be going somewhere a bit cooler. I can't stand the heat. It will get into the 90's F here in the next couple of months. Right now it is rainy and a little cooler than it has been. But that is fine with me, since it always seems like we skip over Spring and head right into Summer most years. Enjoy your cooler weather in Sydney.

@morgoodie 90 is still better than 107 we experienced yesterday and soon it will cross 110 here. The good thing is I am on leave so inside the house most of the time.

@suni51 Yeah that is way too hot for me. I would stay in the house like you are doing too. Try to stay cool.

They are few and far between, but it's okay. Every now and then I get a day where there isn't as much going on. Of course, I don't have little ones anymore as they are almost grown, well half way grown anyway. I imagine you day is a little more chaotic than mine though.

Yes I love feeling like this. Almost like I don't have stress, but it's somewhere in the background.
